Role Overview
National General, an Allstate company, is recruiting an RV Desk Estimator for a fully remote position. The role involves creating or auditing detailed damage estimates for first- and third-party material damage claims related to recreational vehicles, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and document claim activities while providing technical support and quality control.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience in estimating damages is preferred.
- Education: A four-year bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Technical Skills: Advanced experience in writing estimates for RV damages using photographs is required. Familiarity with CCC, Duncan (RV), and Adjustrite (Commercial) software is beneficial.
- Other Requirements: While licensing is not required, it is considered an advantage. A solid understanding of various policy types and compliance with fair claims practices is essential.
