Customer Service Financial Customer Associate, Nebraska

Fidelity Investments is seeking a full-time Financial Customer Associate to assist workplace-investing customers, primarily from home. The work covers questions about 401(k) balances, withdrawals, loans, account maintenance, education and related resources. Service may be provided by voice or digital channels.The position begins with a 14-week training cohort. New associates move from basic customer calls to more complex conversations involving client 401(k) plans, then continue building their skills through day-to-day customer contact. Although classified as remote, the role may require approximately 0–25% onsite work. Applicants must live within 60 miles of the Greater Omaha area, including Lincoln, Nebraska. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with open availability required between 7:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Central. Overtime may be available during peak periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer-service experience are required. Fidelity does not require a college degree or a finance background. The company is looking for candidates who can establish rapport, listen carefully, communicate with empathy and professionalism, resolve varied customer situations, and navigate basic technology. Adaptability is important because the working arrangement may include both home and office time. Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
