The Experienced Desk Adjuster is responsible for reviewing and resolving property, auto, and casualty insurance claims in a remote, part-time capacity. Primary duties include investigating claims, confirming policy coverage, collecting relevant documentation, assessing damages, and negotiating settlements. This position may also require consulting legal teams and attending litigation proceedings when necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education & Licensing: High school diploma or GED, along with a valid state adjuster license.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of property claims adjusting experience is preferred.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to timely reporting
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working independently and within a team
- Adept in time management and organizational tasks
