Role Overview

Transcom is seeking a Technical and Customer Experience Advisor to support a telecommunications client by handling inbound customer calls. In this role, the advisor will provide technical assistance for devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers, answer product and service inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve service-related questions. The position is remote, with work provided from home and includes necessary computer equipment and training.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. A successful criminal background check is required. Applicants should have:

  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to type at least 30 wpm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Experience in multitasking across various applications while providing step-by-step guidance.
  • The ability to adhere strictly to a set work schedule, with availability for full-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • The capability to work independently in a structured, fast-paced, and high-volume call environment.
  • Preferred experience includes technical support, call center operations, or work-from-home roles.

Additionally, candidates must reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MO, MS, NE, NH, NC, ND, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, and meet specific work-from-home requirements related to the home office environment and internet connectivity.
