Amazon is one company that is not forcing all its employees to return to the office.  Of course, there are workers involved in product distribution who have had to work hard in the workplace throughout the pandemic.    But when COVID-19 forced companies across the nation to close their offices, the majority of office workers began to work from home.   As things have been returning to normal many have been returning to the office full-time.  There are still others that have continued a fully remote or hybrid working model.

“We don’t have a plan to require people to come back,” Jassy said on stage Wednesday at the Code Conference in Los Angeles. “We don’t right now. But we’re going to proceed adaptively as we learn.”

Amazon has long had several positions as fully remote.  Most notably are their work-from-home customer service positions.   But those are not the only options available.    There are software engineering and other skilled positions open with the company that offers employees the opportunity to work from anywhere and still allow them to work at one of the top tech companies in the world.
