Teladoc Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Member Advocate – Oncology to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality virtual care to oncology patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive support throughout their healthcare journey.
Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse Member Advocate specializing in oncology, you will:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team, including physicians, medical assistants, and pharmacy technicians, to coordinate care plans.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and guide members through intake processes to capture relevant medical data.
- Coordinate primary, preventive, and episodic care services, ensuring seamless integration across Teladoc Health’s service lines.
- Provide health coaching, treatment decision support, and educational resources to empower patients in managing their health.
- Utilize Teladoc Health’s proprietary systems to connect members with appropriate internal and external healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in an acute care setting; oncology experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge base with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility for evening and weekend shifts.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Oncology Nursing Certification.
- Medical-surgical background.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Compensation and Benefits
Teladoc Health offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually for this full-time remote position. Additional benefits include:
