The Placement Counselor—contractor—contacts students and their families to conduct placement conferences, graduation plan reviews and transcript evaluations, and to collect documentation required to finalize course placements. Responsibilities include guiding families on required documents; interpreting state- and school-specific—and international—academic records against graduation requirements; logging all phone and email communications in Stride’s tools and databases; managing an assigned caseload within specified timeframes; escalating complex cases to the Lead Placement Coordinator; supporting team members; participating in regular meetings and required trainings; and performing other duties as assigned.
